The brain child of radio and music industry veterans, Al “Big Al” Harper and Daryle “Mista Soull” Cox, the I.M.M. is a mix of live performances, music conference and trade show. They saw there was a void in the industry, particularly when it came to unsigned artists, and the I.M.M. is one way to fill that void. Unseen in the Midwest, one of the unique features of the I.M.M. is the opportunity for participants to sell directly to the public, as well as establish a new fan base.

Registrants will be able to attend the music conference to get educated on a variety of aspects, like marketing & promotions and music edutainment. Panelists will include some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Mar Brown (Interscope Records); Big D (Universal Records); Eric “E.P.” Parler (Def Jam Records); Sid Vicious (Dirty South Entertainment); Tony Neal (Core DJs); Conrad D (PMP Worldwide), as well as more than 100 DJ’s from the region participating.

In addition to the marketplace and conferences, there will be several auxiliary events happening including a welcome reception, DJ appreciation brunch, and new artist showcase/beat battle

“The music industry is very different than five years ago. Each year more and more artists and labels attempt to break into the music industry. There are many different conferences and events to attend to further ones knowledge and to network but the I.M.M. allows artists to not only network with professionals within the industry but allows them to sell merchandise and music direct to consumers,” says Harper.
