ATLANTA [9.23.11] – Rap trio Travis Porter will release the third installment of their highly anticipated mixtape series “Differenter 3” presented by DJ Teknik exclusively on LiveMixtapes.com on September 29, 2011. With special appearances from DJ Spinz, FKI, Sonny Digital and A-lists features by Tyga, Big Sean, Wale and a few others, the group plans to supersede their record-setting “Music, Money and Magnums,” mixtape released earlier this year.
With LiveMixtapes.com reporting “Music, Money and Magnums” (released earlier this year), to have obtained their highest rating ever for a mixtape with more than 1.5 million views to date, the young emcees are continuing the momentum.
Recording and releasing two new music videos off the project (“You Don’t Know” and “We Outchea”), adapting to label changes as RCA bought out Jive and consistently touring and recording for their upcoming album, the young Atlanta natives have definitely been the recent buzz among the music industry and artists alike.
“Differenter 3” is an expansion of two previous projects, which the group makes light of being indifferent by putting a unique spin on its references and adding “er” at the end to empower the adjective into a noun, describing themselves as differenters. “Differenter 3” offers a highly energetic explanation of just what these guys have been doing in their spare time.
Stocked full of club bangers and party anthems, the underlying message of self-confidence, belief and hard work resonate completely throughout the songs selected for the project. “Differenter 3” suggests that the dedication to being you, different or not, is what being a “differenter” is all about.
The 25-track tape unveils breaking new music from the rap trio alongside Rob Green, KB and Soundz. Other features on the mixtape include Lloyd, Jeremih, Juicy J. and Jose Guapo also lends his skills to the project as does Tyga, who the group has been working as of late on a project to be released later this year. Growing as entertainers daily, the trio expects to increase their fan base this go round with no shortage of “Road Trips and Big T!ts!”
