Los Angeles, CA (October 10 , 2011) – Tha Alumni Music Group releases Kid Ink's Official new Mixtape "Wheels Up." This is a DJ Free project including features from Nipsey Hussle, Tyga, 2 Chainz, Travis Porter, J. Valentine & Sterling Simms. "Wheels Up" consists of all original music with production from the likes of Lex Luger, Megaman, Cardiak, Hit-Boy, Sonny Digital, KE, Nard & B and More!!
This album is Executive Produced by DJ ill Will. Ill Will adds:
"this time around we decided to make a project a little more fundamental at the mixtape core, we went a little less pop and focused more on the rapping side of things. I think Ink has proved himself as a great song writer already, this project was intended to prove he can move the streets and hip-hop heads as well."
Kid Ink adds:
"I challenged myself with this one; I think writing and making pop & R&B records comes really easy for me, but this time around I wanted to make a project that everyone can enjoy....not just the youngsters but the fans of true Hip-Hop, lyrics, spitters as well...without going too far left of what I normally do of course."
