Dallas, Texas rapper Lil Pooh of Bad Guy Entertainment and Huntsville, Alabama rapper Zilla of O’Third Ent will be embarking on a mixtape collaboration titled Paid In Full. The mixtape will be available for download on Live Mixtapes and the trailer can be viewed HERE. Earlier this month Lil Pooh kicked off the promotion for the new mixtape at the launch of his first statewide “Life of a Workaholic” Tour in Las Vegas, Nevada. The tour will continue through the rest of the year ending at Houston, at the Texas’s NBA All-Star weekend on February 16th. Zilla is just coming off the road after being the opening act on there most recent tour. The production was all done by Stunt-N-Dozier whose production credits include Trae Da Truth ,Slim Thug, Dom Kennedy, Bun B, Paul Wall, J Dawg, Dre Day, Killa Kyleon, Big Chief, Trapstarz Click, Dorrough, Hurricane Chris and many more. Lil Pooh is coming off his previous release of “The Mind of A Workaholic” now available on Livemixtapes. Lil Pooh was just recently featured in Fader Magazine in which David Drake writes about a the single “Let em Sing feat K.D. a single released off the Workaholic 2 album writes:
“Workaholic is a release to look forward to.”
Workaholic 2 is set for release sometime in December. Zilla is set to drop his upcoming mixtape “Rumble In The Bayou” produced by Baton Rouge producer Q-Red on November 2 and coming off his previous successful mixtape release “Zilla Shit II”. It was reviewed by Spin Magazine’s Brandon Soderberg alongside artist Stalley of Rick Ross’s infamous label Maybach Music Group, where he writes:
“The difference between the very good Savage Journey to the American Dream and the excellent Zilla Shit 2: Zilla feels present, while Stalley sounds like he's just along for the ride.”
It is also available on Livemixtapes with over 93,000 hits and listens. After both artist dropped there tapes with Traps-N-Trunk and both being tied to New Orleans, La Dj Dow Jones both rappers felt it made sense come together and do a mixtape.
