New Video: V3RB - Streets Talk

produced by OC The Kidd of 83 Sound

Standing Ovation coverart

Streets Talk, the third single off my debut album "Standing Ovation", is a reflection of my direct-side as an artist. When I wrote this joint, I chose not to use a bunch of word-play or punchlines in an attempt to just get straight to the point. The point being is how many of us are given these opportunities to shine and stake our claim in this game but we miss out due to our own procrastination. Im guilty of it, we all are. A lot of very talented people never maximize their potential, chillin and waiting for something to happen instead of making it happen for themselves. People are watching your moves and whether their good or bad, you can always count on the streets to talk and tell the story.

About V3RB

Born in Bell Flower, California, V3RB knew at a very early age that rapping would be a part in his future. At the age 16, he began writing his first rhymes, linking up with other local Mc's to form the rap crew Faze 1. In his native Palmdale, California, he became a regular in the local hip-hop scene but as his crew fell apart; at the age of 18, he enlisted in the United States Army.
His goal was to somehow take his music over to Europe, since he had always admired the dedication and love they showed towards Hip-Hop. After taking some time off from recording, V3RB eventually left the military but decided to stay in Europe to focus on his craft. It was at this time that V3RB met fellow Muddy Trenchez members Young Prophet and Max Mostly. His working relationship with Max Mostley, who is also a member of the 83 Sound production team; based out of Kaiserslautern, Germany, led to his developing of a family-like relationship with 83 Sound and all of its members.
Now back living in California, V3RB continues his grind, representing that unique sound of 83 to the fullest. "I'm a product of 83, that's my fam" says V3RB. With several mixtape appearances and his Solo project in the works, V3RB shows no sign of stopping his journey in creating powerful music for the whole world to vibe with.
