Atlanta, GA; Huntsville, Alabama native Mata releases new video titled "Mental Patient". "Mental Patient" is a record that speaks of retaliation, although we speak out against this topic, as parents this scenario deems it necessary. Mata, who also produces & engineers recently has been put to the test after losing his son to the streets at the tender age of 15. After experiencing this we can definitely acknowledge the feelings of being a "Mental Patient". This song despite the bizarre title, is very smooth, melodic, & really displays Mata's ability to sing, rap, and write. There are artists whom release videos and songs, but Mata granted us access to his grief and all we can do is thank him for expressing his feelings via his music.
