Godric was born and raised in Oakland, Ca and and went on to graduate from UCLA with a bachelors degree in Afro-American studies. He has since worked as an assistant researcher at UC Berkley and Stanford University on projects dealings with the advancement and success of minority youth through alternative education and the strategic distribution of community resources. In a balanced combination of style and substance, Godric gives his audience an of experience of new age hip hop and R&B nuanced with the tenants of his research.
