Artist Spotlight on Suave and Mixtape "Never Setttle For Less"

Unlike Atlanta rappers who are spoiled with the industry being right at their finger tips, artists like Suave have to work a little harder to be heard. Never Settle for Less is the third mixtape by Alabama artist, Suave, but definitely not the last! Not since Doe B have we seen a promising artist from Alabama, and unfortunately that progress was cut short.
“I think Alabama artist have it harder because we have limited music sources, and we don’t stick together” he recently said in an interview. And while this may be true for now, Suave is hoping to pick up where Doe B left off, and finally put some respeck on Alabama’s name.
If you think about it, every state in the south has had a large artist to make a name for the state. Even Mississippi made a name for itself with David Banner and Big Krit so it’s only right that Suave lead the way for Alabama.
Musically, Suave draws inspiration from T.I and Nas and while those sound like two ends of the rap spectrum, if you were born in Harlem and raised in Alabama, as Suave was, then this makes perfect sense. From the intro to the final track, you’ll get slamming beats and bars, but don’t take my word for it, make sure you check out the tape and let us know which track is your favorite.
